There are numerous different ways to study in Spain. Eihter via an Erasmus exchange program, via an internship or just via your own university.

At Universities in Spain, there are normally two lecture shifts one in the morning, from 8:00 a.m to 2:00p.m and afternoon/evening classes from 4:00pm to 9:00 p.m. Normally you get the option to choose between one of them. Once in a while you can attend a classes in the another shift when, for example, you prefer a certain teacher.

Unlike the education system in most northern European countries you will have to take lots of notes and are told to supplement them with extra reading from a certain bibliography, which will be provided to you, even though some teachers are happy with their own notes. Ask your classmates about the requirements of your teachers. And keep in mind that the Spanish system still tends to be based on "listen and learn" much more than other Western higher education systems.

A study or practical work experience in Spain will allow you to learn about another culture and encourage personal development, co-operation, tolerance and open-mindedness.
